One of 54 Food Banks throughout Spain and 271 Food Banks across Europe. During the pandemic, we connected with Amalia, a Madrid volunteer who has collaborated by delivering more than 200 masks made for the workers of the Madrid food bank, so that they could perform their functions safely.
They provide help and shelter to all those in need since the beginning of the pandemic, so that families who come to Casa Caridad can be protected against the Coronavirus. We connected them with 8 volunteers from Valencia who have sewn 866 masks that we collected and delivered.
Following the confinement due to COVID19, our volunteers Carmen and Eva have sewn more than 1,250 masks for the reopening of the hospital’s external consultations. The masks were provided to external consultations patients that did not have one.
It is an organization that carries out projects of social charity and international cooperation.
We provided volunteers who sew masks for Catadau Caritas nonprofit during the pandemic.
They work to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people. During the pandemic, our volunteers sew more than 200 masks so they could deliver them to vulnerable communities.
They provide healthcare to injured individuals that had accidents at work within the Valencian Community. We have connected the hospital with one of our talented volunteers who sew 89 hygienic masks for the hospital workers.
The Montalt Mobility group joined our cause. Esteban, an employee and volunteer from the Montalt Mobility group helped with the essential distribution of our masks. Esteban delivered masks sewn by participating volunteers to the Nisa 9 de Octubre and Casa Caridad Hospitals.
Convinced that we could lead and drive a project that affects the world, we launched a social entrepreneurship project during COVID19. Building a community in Spain with volunteers who sew more than 1.000 masks per week for nonprofits.
The Trade Union of Valencia’s Taxi Federation is the organization that represents and defends taxi professionals in their workplace. Thanks to the collaboration of José Enrique, a volunteer local taxi driver, masks sewn by volunteers were delivered to non-profit organizations and vulnerable communities.
